Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club has been successful in winning the Division 3 & 6 Saturday Pennant Competition for season 2023-2024.
Played last Sunday, Side Three played at Moonee Ponds against Rosamond in what proved to be a nail biting game. Side 3 were down all of the game and with 20 ends to play they had to make up 25 shots.
In what has been said as the greatest comeback ever seen, they managed to get the scores to level playing the last end. The last end saw Jean Smith, Steve Smith, Gary Little & Braedan Killender score the shot to win the Division Three Premiership. Well done to all 32 players from both clubs on a wonderful game of bowls.

Side Five played at Burden Park against the Dandenong Club, and they had a great day on the green, leading from the first end all the way to the last end, winning the game convincingly. This is a wonderful achievement for this team as they had 3 late changes to their team in the semi final game. Once again well done to all 32 players that played in this grand final.
