The Yarravile-Footscray Bowling Club staged the Edith Grinham Ladies 2 Bowl Triples last Saturday 11/4/24.

This day is held to pay tribute to Edith who has been a wonderful member of our club over many years. Edith has been involved at club level, Metro-West and State level for a very long time.

Edith has also been a top player winning many titles, and we hope that Edith and her husband Cliff will be able to attend our club for many more years ahead.

On Saturday players attended from the following clubs, Webconna, Werribee, Altona, Donvale, Traralgon, Moonee Valley, Heathmont, M.C.C, Palm Lake, Croydon, Keilor, Williamstown, Lilydale, Sunshine RSL and our own Yarraville-Footscray members.

After the 4 games had been completed we had the following results.

Best 1st game winners, S.Allen, B.Edwards, G.Edwards with 15 shots up.

Best 2nd game winners, L.Haesek, A.King, K.Sherlock with 9 shots up.

Best 3rd game winners, R.Paddle, L.Martin, L.Heneken with 11 shots up.

Best 4th game winners, G.Engebretsen, D.Sloan, T.Thick with 11 shots up.

Runners-Up with 53 points & 31 shots up the Altona team of Sharon Callus, Carol Fleming & Hayley O'Reilly.

Winners from Traralgon, Julie Jackson, Kirsty Vanden Hoff, & Pat Trewan, with 63 points & 18 shots up.
