Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club held the final night of their Ladies Only Night Bowls on Thursday 29th February. This year we were able to attract players from many clubs including Melton, Werribee, Newport, Williamstown, Altona, City Of Melbourne, Footscray Park, Deer Park, Moonee Ponds, Clayton and Yarraville-Footscray.
Played over 6 Thursday nights, this year the competition was very close, with the final night seeing 4 teams having a chance of winning the event.
Going into the final round the eventual winners the Rubies were third, but they had a big win over Williamstown, who were second. The Diamonds who were the top team also went down allowing the Rubies to win the event by 1 point.
