Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club, Men's Club Championship Final was played last Wednesday between Nelson Ball & Wayne Roberts.
This was an excellent game of bowls, with the result going down to the last bowl to determine a winner.
Wayne started the game well holding a early lead 9 v 1. Nelson started to claw his way back to level the scores at 16 all, then taking the lead 19 v 16. Wayne scored the next 3 shots to be 19 all. Then both players were 21 all, Wayne then lead 24 v 22, and was able to score last last shot on a very tight measure.
Nelson won the Club Championship 2 years ago, while Wayne's last title was in 2019.
Well done to both players on a great game of bowls.
