The Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club has just staged the 2024 Junior Singles, with two great days of bowls being played by all bowlers.
This year the event was once again sponsored by the Seddon Community Bank, and our club is very thankful for their support of this event.
This event attracted bowlers from the following clubs. Altona, Moama, Fitzroy-Victoria, Bendigo East, Winchelsea, Leopold, Moonee Valley, City Of Geelong, Drysdale, Sunbury, Altona Sports, Richmond Union, Simpson, Kilmore, Yarrawonga, Cheltenham, Essendon & Yarraville-Footscray.
Day One seen sectional play with 3 games of 21 up played.
Sections Winners
The second day of play seen the 8 section winners play knockout games of 21 up, while the other 24 players played 4 games of 12 ends.

Runner-Up in the Consolation Singles was Harry Coleman from City Of Geelong with 4 wins and 49 shots up.
Winner of the Consolation was Jack Cassidy from Moonee Valley with 4 wins & 52 shots up.
In the main event.
4th Place went to Akasha Fortune from Sunbury.
3rd Place went to Eridani Wheeler from Fitzroy-Victoria
Runner-Up went to Jacob Brighton from Moama.
