The Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club held its 2023 Club Opening Day on Saturday September 2nd, with a excellent day of weather for the opening of the new season.
President Michelle Velo had the pleasure of opening the greens and welcoming 9 new members who attended the day. President Michelle then invited last years club singles winners Sharon Fletcher & Brett Mahoney to roll the first 2 bowls for the season. There was a great attendance on Saturday with 70 members playing the 2 games of 12 ends.

Next Saturday the club will be having Saturday Pennant Practice starting at 1pm at Yarraville-Footscray. Teams for this game will be selected at 4pm on Thursday 7th September. If members would like to play on this day, the entry sheet is placed in the bowls foyer.
