The Yaraville-Footscray Bowling Club are pleased to announce that Brett Mahoney has been selected to play for Victoria in the National Sides Championships which will be played at the Broadbeach Bowls Club, Qld in October. Brett will be playing third to Matt Flapper and we wish Brett and the Victorian team all the best.
Also Oscar Jones has been selected in the Victorian Under 18 team which will also play at Broadbeach in later September. Oscar is one of 5 players representing Victoria and he will play lead in the triples & second in the fours. Well done Oscar may there be many more games for you in the State side.
Gou Engebretsen has been selected to represent Victoria in the armed state team. The Nationals for this event will be played in Perth WA in September. This will be the first time Gou has represented Victoria in this tournament.
All members of the Yarraville-Footscray Bowling Club wish all Gou, Oscar & Brett best of bowling.
